Works Planner, Construction
As a Works Planner you are the pivot between the office and the site. You make sure colleagues outside know exactly what to do, with the right materials at the right time. Thanks to your preparation the project runs smoothly and without surprises.
What will you do?
Analysing construction drawings, specifications and other documentation to determine the materials and labour needed for each project.
You prepare projects from A to Z
You make schedules and keep a close eye on them
You arrange materials, orders and documentation
You liaise a lot with project managers, site managers and suppliers
You spot bottlenecks and think in solutions
You help think about smarter and more efficient ways of working
Who are you?
You have technical insight and love organising
You work accurately, but do not lose sight of the big picture
You communicate easily with colleagues and external parties
You have at least 3 years of experience as a works planner
You are proactive and like to take responsibility
