On the Roos en Beeklaan in Santpoort-Noord, municipality of Velsen, a sheltered and luxurious residential building for over-55s is rising, with 111 comfortable apartments.
Roos & Beek is laid out around a large enclosed inner garden and therefore resembles a courtyard. Residents have, among other things, a communal meeting room and covered parking spaces on private grounds. The project meets the high demands that over-55s place on comfort, peace, privacy and safety, among other things. Care and service can be received at home as needed.
The apartments of Roos & Beek are divided over a number of small-scale buildings with different storeys, playfully connected to one another. In the middle meanders the sheltered communal garden. The homes vary not only in number of rooms but also in size and layout. On the upper floors the apartments have a balcony or roof terrace, and on the ground floor a terrace.
